This little girl was so cute today!! She's 6 months old now and just a doll. I had to come home and post a couple of her pictures right away.

Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park

Here are some of the shots I got at Black Canyon National Park. The views were breath taking, although standing on some of the overlooks made me dizzy. It probably doesn't come close to the Grand Canyon, but these were some of the biggest canyons I have ever seen.

There was a really cool upturned tree that looked just like a deer (you can see it, right?).

Maroon Bells

We went on a trip to Maroon Bells this past week. The bad news is that it was raining the whole time we were there so I didn't get the stunning picture of the mountains that I wanted to. Instead we hiked around and got pictures of other things. I did get a few pictures that I am happy with. This area is beautiful, and I recommend it to anyone. Just go when it is not raining. =)

Fairies Do Exist

"When the first baby laughed for the first time, the laugh broke into a thousand pieces and they all went skipping about, and that was the beginning of fairies" ~James Matthew Barrie

At my house we spend a lot of time talking about rocks, trucks, worms, and bodily functions (yeah, I know). That is the nature of boys. Today I got to spend the evening with three of the most adorable girls I have ever seen. It was nice and refreshing to talk about tutus and ballerinas for a change. They were like real life fairies!! I got some really cute shots of them, and on the way home I was wondering if arranged marriages would still fly these days. =)

Here are a few of the pictures:

Photo Trip

A guy in our ward did a "photo workshop" this morning. He takes BEAUTIFUL landscape pictures and he showed us some of his favorite spots to take pictures at Garden of the Gods. Now, I don't have an eye for landscapes (please remember that while viewing these photos), I do much better with people. But, it was nice to have something sit still for as long as I needed it to. Here are some of the pictures I took:

There were also some really cool trees there, so I snapped some pictures of those too.

Just one for now

I took some pictures of the flowers at the temple today. I haven't had a chance to look at all of them yet, but here is one for now. I LOVE tulips, and I love how this tulip stands out in a sea of yellow.
