"Dr. Seuss" Themed Shoot

This Mom found these totally cute Dr. Seuss themed outfits, bows, and hats and I had such a fun time taking pictures of these cute kiddos.  I wanted something a little more whimsical for the background so I got these hanging party lanterns and I think they add the perfect little pop of color.  Such a fun shoot!

Cake Smash

 When this little cutie's Mom told me she wanted to do a cake smash photo session I was so excited!!  I have wanted to do this (with someone other than my kids) for a long time now.  I couldn't have asked for a more handsome subject.  Even though we had to trick him a little bit to get him to dig in the cake, we all still had fun and we got some great pictures.  I can't believe this little guy is 1 already!

7 Months

Every month I look forward to taking this little girl's pictures.  She is getting so big, and I can't believe how fast she is growing!!  Once again she was all smiles for the pictures.

Sweet Baby

I'm just so lucky to take pictures of all these precious newborns!  This little one did not like posing for me, but we still got some great shots of her.  I "love" how these turned out (see the "love" picture below)!

A Very Important Announcement

So, after I took all the pictures of this sweet girl, I told her Mom I would be happy to make a baptism announcement for her, and here is the one we decided on.  I have a thing about posting people's names and addresses on the Internet so once again I blacked those out on the announcement. It's probably silly, but I don't like to put all that information out there for everyone to see.  I look forward to her special day!

It's Great to be Eight!

This beautiful girl turned eight and is getting baptized, so I went out with her Mom to take pictures of her in her baptism dress.  We got some great light during the shoot, (which I may or may not have beefed up a little in Photoshop!) ;) We had such a fun time together - pulling flowers, sitting in thorny rose bushes, and even getting the train operator to honk his enormously loud horn at us!!  Does that make you all want to sign up for a photo shoot now?!?!? Haha, I promise we'll have a good time, and check out these great pictures we got. 

Now Lots of Girls!

Now, it's time to switch gears from all those boys in the last photo shoot!  This family is overpowered with girls!!  Secretly I'm jealous of those sisters since I was the only girl in my family growing up.  They are such sweet sisters, and it was fun to take pictures of their family!

All Those Boys..

I am just so blessed to be able to photograph the funnest, most photogenic families ever!!  I love this family, and all those boys are just so fun!  We had a great time roaming around the city and taking pictures.

The Funnest Family Ever!

These good people are very dear friends of mine. You will not find a more generous and loving family in the world.  I just love them and their sense of humor.  It was so fun taking pictures of them.  The Dad is very into Batman, so I was trying to think of a way we could work that into the shoot.  I was very happy with the way the "superhero" picture came out.  I am happy with the way they all came out actually.  I couldn't have asked for a funner, more photogenic bunch!!

All Graduated

This young man just got his Associates Degree (in Physics no less) and his Mom wanted to update his pictures and celebrate this accomplishment.  I had so much fun with this young man.  He is polite, smart, funny, and willing to do just about anything for a great picture - my favorite kind of photography subject!!  I know this young man is headed for much success...in school and in any endeavor he chooses to undertake.

6 months!

I'm telling you this baby gets more beautiful every month.  She's always a joy to photograph, and she's starting to get a little sass!! Love her personality!  I tell her Mom every month that I would just take her home with me if I could.  She never lets me. ;)
