Wedding Bells

I got the opportunity to shoot another wedding.  Weddings are stressful and a LOT of work, but it is such an honor to be able to capture someones special day (arguably the most special day of their life). I love taking pictures at weddings because the couple is so in love and everyone is so happy...makes my job a lot easier.  I am showcasing quite a few pictures here, but I figured after all the time I spent taking and editing them I should have a chance to show some off.  So, enjoy!  You may also notice that I have a different watermark on these pictures.  This wedding was a collaborative effort with my Dad, so we created a new watermark and company name for the two of us...in case we ever shoot together again.

 

Another Cutie!

This little girl's momma wanted pictures of her in her beautiful blessing dress...that the Mother MADE!!  Sigh. Sometimes I wish I could sew.  Both the dress and the baby are beautiful and it was my pleasure to take pictures of them.

5 months

Is it possible for a baby to get way cuter in only a month???  YES!!  Look at this sweet little girl at 5 months.  So beautiful!

Brand New Bundle!

Aren't newborn babies just the sweetest ever?!?  I think I could have sat and held this sweet little girl all day.  She is only a few days old here!  One of the perks of being a photographer is getting to capture memories of these precious little ones for their parents - I also get my "baby fix" so it's a plus for both of us!!

Look Who's 4 Months Old!!

I just love, love, LOVE taking pictures of this sweet baby every month.  She is so smiley and just beautiful!!  It's been so fun to see her changing every month.  I wish I could find some way to stop her from growing up, but until then capturing this moment in pictures will have to do.

I Hope They Call Me on a Mission

This young lady is going on a mission and I was very pleased to take some pictures of her (she said she wanted a really nice picture to put on her mission plaque).  We went to several different locations and just had a really fun time.  She is a very fun, nice, and amazing young lady, and I wish her all the best on her upcoming journey.

The Wedding

I'm going to be updating my blog here in the next few days.  These sessions have already been edited and given to the recipients, I have just been a slacker about posting them here. 

A few months ago I did my first wedding.  It was nerve-wracking, time consuming, and my hands ached at the end of the day from lugging around the camera (who knew a camera could get so heavy!).  It was also a lot of fun, and I was glad for the experience. 

The day before the wedding I took the family out and got some pictures of them since they wouldn't all be together again for quite some time.  It was great because I got to know the kiddos and the groom before the big day.

I literally had hundreds of pictures to sort and edit!  Here are some of my favorites:
